New Workout Sneakers

So, I went to train Tae Kwon Do today but forgot the school would be closed. Was tempted to watch Thor again but instead got these comfy Pumas. I like that they were sort of cheap (59.99) and have behind-the-heel soles - good for protecting my heels as I work on my side split ;)

State of Being is all that Matters

Reminded today my circumstances don't matter. It's my state of being that matters. Despite the financial challenges before me I still am in a position to choose - in fact I am certain that I chose this challenge on purpose to get me to push past my old limits.

Had a good drum lesson! Learning about bass sound placement, and how to roll the sticks. I demoed well too, ill be awesome in no time :)

Tweeting my Blog

I have the desire to blog about my various hobbies. I now have a fitness coaching page on Facebook that tweets updates to my Twitter account. Unfortunately, my friends get the impression I am all about fitness which is not what I want to portray. In my experience society likes to lable people by a profession or role of some sort. I find this social construct tedious. I like the idea that I am striving to be a Leonardo Da Vinci of sorts - what can I say, I find him inspiring.

Creative Collaborations

This weekend I got together with a few friends of mine to work on a creative collaboration. We didn't finish it, but it is very inspiring to just get your hands dirty from time to time, making some art that has no financial motive.
